Cocktail Ideas

Cuba Libre

Cuba Libre

Cuba Libre is Rum and Coke elevated — white rum, cola, and fresh lime juice over ice for a drink with more citrus brightness and complexity than the simple mix. Named after Cuba's independence cry, it's a symbol as much as a cocktail. Always use fresh lime.

Daiquiri

Daiquiri

The Daiquiri is rum at its most elegant — white rum, fresh lime juice, and sugar syrup shaken until perfectly balanced and ice-cold. Simple, sharp, and deeply refreshing, it's one of the most misunderstood and underrated rum cocktails. Quality ingredients matter here.

Dark 'n' Stormy

Dark 'n' Stormy

The Dark 'n' Stormy layers dark rum on top of ginger beer and lime juice for a powerful, spicy, and deeply satisfying rum cocktail. The dark rum's molasses notes meet ginger's heat for a drink with real complexity and warmth. A rum lover's essential.

Mai Tai

Mai Tai

The Mai Tai is the Polynesian tiki classic — white and dark rum, lime, orange liqueur, and orgeat syrup over crushed ice. Exotic, layered, and complex, with nutty almond sweetness underlying the rum's warmth. A proper cocktail for serious rum enthusiasts.

Mojito

Mojito

The Rum Mojito is Cuba's greatest cocktail contribution — white rum, fresh lime, mint leaves, and sugar muddled together and topped with soda. Herbaceous, citrusy, and ice-cold, it's the definitive summer rum cocktail. Muddle gently — bruise the mint, don't destroy it.

Pina Colada

Pina Colada

The Piña Colada is tropical paradise in a glass — white rum, coconut cream, and pineapple juice blended with ice into a creamy, exotic cocktail. Rich, sweet, and unmistakably Caribbean. Blend until smooth and garnish with a pineapple slice for full effect.

Rum and Coke

Rum and Coke

Rum and Coke is one of the world's most popular cocktails — rum poured over ice and topped with cola and a squeeze of lime. Simple, sweet, and deeply satisfying, it's the rum cocktail almost everyone has tried first. Use good rum and the difference is remarkable.

Rum Punch

Rum Punch

Rum Punch combines dark rum with pineapple and orange juice and a grenadine float for a fruity, festive, and easily batchable tropical cocktail. Sweet, tangy, and rum-rich — it's the go-to cocktail for Caribbean-themed parties. Garnish generously with fresh fruit.

Rum Sour

Rum Sour

The Rum Sour shakes white rum with fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup — with optional egg white for silky texture — into a tart, refreshing cocktail that showcases rum's natural sweetness against citrus. Light, balanced, and endlessly versatile.

Zombie

Zombie

The Zombie layers light rum, dark rum, apricot brandy, pineapple and orange juice, and grenadine for a deep, complex tiki cocktail that's fruity, powerful, and dangerously easy to drink. Originally limited to two per customer at Trader Vic's — and for good reason.
