Description: Old Monk is an iconic 7-year-old dark rum from India, produced by Mohan Meakin Ltd (est. 1855). Once one of the world's highest-selling dark rums, it is bottled at 42.8% ABV and known for its distinctive rounded bottle and rich, vanilla-forward character. A beloved Indian spirit with a cult following spanning decades of loyal drinkers.
Tasting Notes: Heavy vanilla pod, raisin and chocolate-coated peanut nose with molasses and maple - Dark, medium-heavy palate with salted caramel, coffee grounds, unsweetened chocolate and licorice - Warm finish with licorice, caramel, spice and surprising smokiness
