I visited an apple orchard in spring. The trees were covered with white blossoms, and Hundreds of honey bees were flying from flower to flower. I learned that the bees were not only collecting nectar—they were also completing the process of pollination. ‘Without these bees, the flowers would never become apples.’ That moment changed the way I looked at nature. Bees carry pollen between blossoms, helping tiny flowers grow into fresh green apples. Their hard work completes the apple’s journey. As the seasons change, the blossoms slowly transform into crisp apples, carrying the sweetness of honey and the aroma of the mountains. Inspired by this beautiful connection, I created a cocktail using Dewar’s 12 Year Old whisky, honey, apple, and cinnamon. The honey represents the dedication of the bees, the green apple symbolizes the fruit born from pollination, and the cinnamon brings warmth and depth, just like the spirit of Kashmir. This cocktail is a tribute to the tiny bees that complete the cycle of life—from blossom to apple—turning nature’s hard work into something unforgettable in every sip.”
