Description
Paul John Port Select Cask is an unpeated Indian single malt from John Distilleries in Cuncolim, Goa, and part of the award winning Select Cask range. Matured in port casks on the tropical west coast of India, it has a deep mahogany colour and a rich, fruity, chocolatey profile. It has won Best Indian Single Malt and a Category Winner title at the World Whiskies Awards 2026, along with medals at IWSC, the International Spirits Challenge and The Spirits Business Global Asian Masters.
Tasting Notes
Colour: deep mahogany. Aroma: rich vanilla, dry resin, dark plum, red liquorice, black currant, milk chocolate and brown sugar. Palate: candied fruit, light ginger and peppery nutmeg with a trace of sweet oak. Finish: long and zesty with orange mocha and spiced chocolate.
