Description: Amrut Intermediate Sherry is an Indian single malt aged first in ex-bourbon barrels, then transferred to Spanish ex-Oloroso sherry butts for one year before returning to bourbon casks to complete maturation. Bottled at cask strength 57.1% ABV from Amrut Distilleries, Bangalore.
Tasting Notes: Port, candied cherries, and strawberry jam on the nose - cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, and anise on the palate - long, dry, oaky finish with gentle sherry sweetness
