My inspiration comes from the Prohibition-era classic Between the Sheets. I wanted to bring this timeless cocktail closer to my roots. I replaced the Cognac with banana-infused whiskey, choosing Dewar’s 15 for its smooth, rounded character and subtle fruity notes that complement the banana beautifully. I added virgin coconut oil fat-washed rum to celebrate the tropical flavours of home, giving the drink a rich, silky-smooth texture. A fresh citrus cordial brings everything into balance. This cocktail is where the rebellious spirit of Prohibition meets the warmth and soul of South India—smooth, tropical, and full of character.
