If you were told there was one drink you could never have… would you still resist? The story of Adam and Eve has fascinated people for generations. It wasn't just about an apple it was about temptation, curiosity, and the irresistible desire to experience the forbidden. I wanted to capture that exact moment when temptation takes over the moment you know you shouldn't, but you simply can't resist. My hero ingredient is Dewar's 12 Year Old, bringing rich notes of honey, orchard fruit, and gentle spice. Inspired by the Manhattan and the refreshing nature of a Gin & Tonic, I pair it with sweet vermouth. A fresh apple juice and clove cordial becomes the symbolic forbidden fruit, balancing sweetness with spice, while tonic water adds brightness. A maraschino cherry finishes the cocktail. I call this cocktail Curiosity, because it wasn't the apple that changed everything it was curiosity.
