You’ve chosen
tequila.
Make it the one
that adds
nothing.
One hacienda in the highlands of Jalisco. Agave, water and time — crushed twice, distilled in small copper stills, and touched by more than sixty pairs of hands before it reaches your glass.
One bottle.
Why it is
crushed
twice
Most tequila takes one road from baked agave to juice. Here it takes two — a modern roller mill and a two-ton volcanic tahona stone. Each ferments and distils separately, then comes back together.
A two-ton volcanic wheel turns slowly over the baked agave, crushing fibre and juice together the way it was done for centuries. Earthier, rounder, unmistakably agave — and almost no distillery still keeps one turning.

Anyone can
crush agave.
Only one hacienda
does it both ways.
What sixty pairs
of hands look like

One distillery, one brand. Every bottle is hand-blown, hand-numbered and signed by the hands that finished it.One house.
One
tequila.
In 1989 two travellers went looking for the finest tequila in Mexico and found a small distillery in Los Altos de Jalisco willing to make it their way — by hand, at their pace, with nothing added. Hacienda Patrón has made nothing else since.

“A distillery that makes one tequila, and nothing else.”
Four things
we will not
hurry

Jimadores cut only the ripest 100% Blue Weber Agave — at least five years of growth, chosen for the highest sugar.
Hand-chopped agave bakes in traditional clay brick ovens, steaming and resting in turn for 79 hours so it cooks through and never scorches.
Mill juice and tahona juice ferment apart in small pine tanks for three days, then distil twice in small copper pot stills before they are blended.
Each bottle is hand-blown, hand-filled, hand-corked and inspected. Over sixty pairs of hands touch it before it leaves the hacienda.

What is in
the pour
Fresh cooked agave, bright citrus and a lift of green herb.

Four ways
to pour it
Clean enough to sip, honest enough to mix. Tequila with nothing added has nothing to hide behind the ice.
A short pour, nothing added. Cooked agave, citrus and pepper — the clearest read of both crushes, and the honest test of an additive-free tequila.

“The test of a tequila is what happens when the ice melts.”

The one that adds
nothing is also
the one that
gives the most.
Two crushes. Seventy-nine hours in brick. Sixty pairs of hands, one hacienda, nothing added — ever. Same shelf, same price as the new arrivals. That is the case for PATRÓN.
