Sparkling Wine FAQs
There are many different kinds of sparkling wines, including Champagne, Cava, Prosecco, Rosé, and more. All of these drinks fall under the category of sparkling wine because they are typically produced using the Methode Traditionnelle. This method creates a second fermentation process, allowing the yeast in the wine to naturally create CO2, which results in carbonation. Drinks created using this method starting from wine are considered sparkling wine.
